Fabulous room! Fabulous staff!
No shops in walking distance, so you had to buy snacks before getting on the shuttle bus.
Excellent room and services.
This hotel is quite a distance from the train but the hotel did supply a fairly regular transfer to and from the train station. No other facilities near the hotel.
Very big, comfortable accommodation. Felt more like a guest house than a hotel. Kitchenette but no tea towels or cutlery. Three couples with one booking but we ended up in two separate buildings. Bonus was the view of Mt Fuji from our room.
Breakfast was really good!
A restful stay amongst the forest.
The decor is dated & maintenance of the property requires attention
Being surrounded by forest & fresh air
Prime spot for wind-down, Fuji views, and Fujikawaguchiko / lakes access
great location with amazing views, excellent countryside location, which was a great contrast to the cities for a busy whistle-stop Japan tourist! useful shuttles, great value room, and kindly upgraded due to availability. Thanks!
old building and mold everywhere. Couldn't see mt Fuji from room.
Good location and nice staffs. large room.
Lovely location to Mt Fuji needed a car.
The breakfast was not good. Beds hard and old. Grounds not well kept.
The area beautiful. Beds were very uncomfortable. The resort seems quite run down, the sporting facilities very old and not looked after. Very close to Mt Fuji and the pinblic Onsen was great.
Difficult to carry our baggage to the room because the parking lot is far from the room and it's rainning. This resort hotel let us parking and carry our luggage to the room ourselves
Excellent room, this hotel have rooms that bigger than ever in Japan. Resort type with valued buffet dinner and breakfast.
Food at the resort was too expensive. Be wary of spiders and ants in your cottage in the Forest Village.
Absolutely beautiful resort. Great with shuttlebusses. Would easily stay at this hotel in all my future visits to Japan!
Unexpectedly awesome! our room reservation is upgraded to suite room and at the cheap price
Like style resort and near station
All good except breakfast arrangement.
No in room wifi. Not happy with Breakfast arrangement that the waiter asked us to wait for 1 hour because of tour groups. When we insist that we have to check out because we had itenerary to follow (driver will pick us up at arrange time), he told us to go down to other room for breakfast with less preparation. Bad organisation.
Comfortable with views of mt Fuji on a clear day
The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The Hot Springs. The view of mt Fuji from the dining room. The buffet dinner and breakfast was very extensive with traditional food and some western food. The shuttle bus to and from the station.
Old, slightly run down place
The family room was very old, the furniture was dirty, as was the carpet. The toilet smelled of smoke (maybe it was a smoking room in the past?). The shuttle only runs until 19:00h, if you want to eat in the city, you have to take a taxi. Dinner in the hotel restaurant is quite expensive
The beds were clean, the shuttle was always on time. The staff was friendly.
Location was little to far from Kawaguchiko with no other shops nearby.
Extremely affordable rate got for a family room which is very very large. Facilities given are excellent
The best surprise we could not have even wishef for during our trip to Japan!
We were lucky to be upgraded to a HUGE family suite. The apartment is well designed, with huge windows allowing overlooking on the amazing views from all 4 directions. The resort facilities are maintained and kept in an excellent condition - all is a bonus in addition to its central location around lake Kawaguchiko and the welcoming staff.
